Job Description:
A company is looking for a Credentialing-Privileging
Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Medical Staff Offices to facilitate provider
privileging processes
Conduct comprehensive verifications of provider history, including
work history, hospital affiliation, claims history, education, and
licensure
Pre-fill hospital privileging applications and manage inquiries
from hospital privileges committees
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in privileging providers with expertise in
relevant verifications
Clear understanding of the distinction between hospital affiliation
and work history
Ability to pre-fill hospital privileging applications
accurately
Experience conducting primary source verifications for provider
history
Familiarity with timeframe requirements for different types of
verifications
