Job Title: Mid-Level Geotechnical Engineer (PE Required)Location: Queens, NY (Hybrid Role)Company Overview: They are a leading geotechnical engineering firm based in Queens, NY, predominantly serving the five boroughs of New York City. Their focus is on providing comprehensive geotechnical investigations, SOE (Support of Excavation) foundations, and a standard scope of geotechnical work for a variety of private sector projects.Position Overview: They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Geotechnical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license and over 5 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical investigations and foundation design, and will be responsible for managing and executing projects from inception to completion.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geotechnical investigations, including soil sampling, testing, and analysis.
• Design and oversee the implementation of SOE foundations and other geotechnical solutions.
• Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Perform site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation techniques and foundation design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools.
