  • Location: -This position is based in our ABA center located in Columbia, MD.
  • Schedule: -Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Shifts are 7:30am-4:00pm and 8:30am - 5:00pm. Candidates must be available to work either shift.
  • Compensation: -Starting at $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications Responsibilities: What does my day look like as a Behavior Technician (BT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):
    • ABA therapists work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans to address communication, behavior, feeding, ADLs, and social skills.
    • The ABA therapist / Registered Behavior Technician collects and records data to monitor the progress of a treatment plan and works in collaboration with the clinical supervisor to update the treatment plan as necessaryIf you are in this field, you know sometimes 'it takes a village', and we strive to provide that support. - Qualifications: Attributes and qualifications needed to be successful in this role:
      • Patience, compassion and the desire to help children with autism achieve their goals
      • Genuine desire to learn about Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy
      • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
      • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress) preferred
      • 6+ months experience working with children preferred
      • Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
