Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic II
Salary: $18-20/hr
Location: Hainesport, NJ

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with overtime as necessary. Rotating on-call availability required.

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our team under general supervision, performing skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance and repairs. This role requires proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and groundskeeping, with a basic understanding of HVAC systems. The role will be responsible for the care, maintenance, and upkeep of our physical plant, including construction, renovations, and rehabilitation of agency facilities. This individual will collaborate with the team to share knowledge and skills for continuous improvement. The role also involves participating in quality improvement activities, adhering to building codes, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to building codes
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
• Paint interior and exterior of agency buildings
• Maintain and repair boilers, hot water heaters, and furnaces
• Remove snow and ice as needed
• Inspect agency vehicles and assist in inspections
• Estimate and procure necessary materials for maintenance projects Requirements:
  • High school diploma with 1-2 years of hands-on maintenance experience
  • Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes (e.g., BOCA, OSHA, NFPA)
  • Specialized training, licenses, or experience in a specific trade preferred Benefits:
