Job Description:
A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative
to ensure proper billing and reimbursement of accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Contact insurance companies to secure and expedite payments through
follow-up and appeals resolution
Act as a functional leader or reference source in insurance billing
and follow-up processes
Facilitate communication between patients, insurance companies, and
departmental staff
Required Qualifications
Two years post high school education or an AA degree preferred
Related health care or insurance industry experience
Knowledge of Federal and State billing requirements preferred
Minimum two (2) years patient accounting experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration may
substitute for experience
