Job Description:
DEMAND PLANNERWe are looking for a Demand Planner with supply
chain experience to join our Demand Planning team. The Demand
Planner is responsible for all forecasting activities at the item
level from Go-To-Market processes to seasonal execution for rolling
24-month horizon. The Demand Planner will be accountable for
driving a consensus Demand Plan considering multiple data points
and cross-functional inputs. This position is remote/hybrid based
on area (some light travel may be required based on needs of the
business)RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and maintain customer & item
level forecast to drive the monthly execution of supply chain
planning across multiple brandsProficiency in retail applications,
systems and programs; preferrably within retailers like Walmart,
Target, Best Buy & AmazonCollaborate cross-functionally (Sales,
Marketing, Finance & Supply Planning) to analyze trends in SKU and
customer performance (POS sales, promotions, shipment history, new
item launches, cannibalization etc) to continuously improve
forecast accuracy and biasUnderstanding significant business
drivers at key customers to identify opportunities for growth and
risks to current plansPrepare, report and present demand planning
KPIs and work with cross-functional teams to improve
performanceExhibits strong business acumen and financial discipline
when analyzing the business and identifying
risks/opportunitiesKnowledge of key customer metrics/expectations
and apply understanding to demand forecastUnderstands interplay of
forecast accuracy with root causes, customer service and inventory
liability and drives to achieve best in class results across all
three areasCommunicates opportunities and risks to management on a
proactive basis.Proven ability to build and maintain relationships
with internal and external teams, vendors and partnersContribute to
the success of company by assisting with ad hoc projects and
sharing best practices with team membersQUALIFICATIONS:2-3 years of
experience in Demand planning, forecasting and Supply Chain
management. Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain or similar
related field.S&OP, SIOP, NetSuite and NetSuite Planning and
Budgeting experience is a plusHighly analytical with an aptitude
for interpreting and utilizing complex data to draw conclusion and
make recommendations.Strong communication skills (both oral and
written) for cross functional teams and managementPossess excellent
prioritization & organizational skills in a high paced
environmentAdvanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and
