Job Description:

Objective of Position: The Design Engineer Co-op will support the Engineering staff in all aspects of the engineering systems.

• Details new drawings or modifies existing production drawings.
• Prepares Bills of Material.
• Completes Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to improve safety, quality, delivery, and/or cost.
• Designs new parts/assemblies/systems as directed by experienced designers.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.Education/Experience:
  • Must be enrolled in a two (2) or four (4) year degree program with a drafting, design, or engineering focus.Position Qualifications:
    • Must have a basic knowledge of CAD systems with an emphasis on SolidWorks software.
    • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
    • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Must possess a positive attitude and work ethic.
