professionals. We are currently seeking an experienced Construction
Superintendent with a focus on healthcare projects to join our
dynamic team.DescriptionThe Construction Superintendent will be
responsible for overseeing and managing healthcare construction
projects from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed
on time, within budget, and in compliance with all quality and
safety standards. This role requires a deep understanding of the
healthcare construction process, as well as the ability to
coordinate teams, subcontractors, and clients effectively.Key
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations on healthcare construction projects,
ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and
specifications.
- Manage on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors,
ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in
compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure healthcare-specific requirements are met, including
infection control, compliance with HIPAA regulations, and adherence
to healthcare design standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and
other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth project
execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is
performed according to plans and specifications, addressing issues
promptly.
- Enforce safety protocols on the job site to ensure a safe
working environment for all team members, subcontractors, and
visitors.
- Review and approve daily progress reports, subcontractor work,
and construction activities to track progress and make necessary
adjustments.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs,
RFIs, change orders, and quality control reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with project managers,
clients, and other key stakeholders regarding project status,
delays, or challenges.
- Lead and facilitate site meetings with subcontractors, design
teams, and clients to discuss project progress and resolve any
concerns.Profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent with a
focus on healthcare projects (hospitals, medical offices, clinics,
etc.).
- Strong knowledge of healthcare construction requirements,
including infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory
standards (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage large, complex healthcare construction
projects with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
- Expertise in scheduling, cost management, quality control, and
subcontractor management.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications,
and codes, with the ability to provide guidance and make decisions
on-site.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving
skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of organization and attention
to detail while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft
Office Suite.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle
