SUMMARY OF JOB:
Working under the direction of supervisor and/or -nurse manager, directs and takes responsibility for total care of residents on a team. - Responsible for implementing interventions designed to achieve the goals and objectives of the resident plan of care. - All work is performed within a resident centered framework in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, residents and their families. - Functions as a role model for staff. -CONNECTING TO MISSION:All work is performed within a resident centered framework in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, residents and their families. - Functions as a role model for staff. - -Recognizes the value of each person as an individual. - Supports and Promotes Resident/Patient strengths and abilities, capacity for social contribution, unique values, preferences, living habits and autonomy of choice. - Embraces a vision of aging that is meaningful and relationship based. -

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Current RN licensePrevious experience preferredDemonstrates position communication skillsAbility to relate to staff in a professional mannerMust be flexible with schedulingComputer experience preferredDemonstrates sensitivity to residents emotional, social, mental health and spiritual needsPrevious experience in a rehab setting preferred.Must be able to interact well with physicians and other health care professionalsAble to exercise sound professional judgmentAble to respond to emergencyLICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTSCurrent RN LicenseEOE
