Job Description:

The Patient Accounts Representative will play a crucial role in assisting patients and their families in navigating the financial aspects of their healthcare journey. This position will make a positive impact in the lives of others while working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.Responsibilities:Reaches out to patients with unpaid debtDetermines reasons for overdue paymentsAttempts to collect payment from patientsSets up repayment plans according to ability to pay or negotiate credit extensionsKeeps records of collection and status of accountsReceives payments and post amounts to customer's accountEnsures collections operations function smoothly and effectivelyWorks out terms for payment or initiates other actions as necessaryIdentifies and communicates with customers with delinquent accounts by mail, phone, etc.Compiles and maintains credit informationContacts customers with past-due accountsRecovers delinquent accounts according to company policy and proceduresExperience, Qualifications, and Education:Must possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matterTypically requires a high school diploma and 0 to 2 years of experiencePersuasive communication skillsProblem-solving skillsPersistenceFor questions or concerns, please contact Ali Gorson at 484-272-3270 ext. 3026M-F from 8:30am-5pm40 hours/week
