Join our team as a Floor Assistant (Barback & Runner) at National Mechanics Bar & Restaurant in Old City, Philadelphia. We offer a welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service to our diverse clientele. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our bar and supporting our staff in providing top-notch service. Responsibilities include:

• 
  
• Assisting bartenders with stocking and replenishing bar supplies
  
• Maintaining clean and organized bar areas
  
• Clearing and cleaning tables in the bar area
  
• Helping with inventory management and restocking shelves and fridges
  
• Supporting the floor team during busy periods by running food and drinks
  
• Handling glassware washing and basic prep work as needed
  
• FOLLOWING ALL HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES
  
  
  Requirements include:
  
  • 
    
  • Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is a plus but not required, we're willing to train
    
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
    
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
    
  • Availability to work weekends and evenings
