Description:Job Summary:Performs a variety of customer service, in store, marketing, promoting, advertising and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the dealerships parts department. Ongoing responsibility for assisting with the counter parts sales and customer service responsibilities.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Serves customer by helping them select productsDrives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledgeGreets and receives customers in and welcoming mannerResponds to customer questionsDirects customers by escorting themProvides outstanding customer serviceInstall in-store signageCreate product tagsManage product displaysManage store appearance (cleaning, front facing, straightening)Rotate product stockingUpdate product information (pricing, SKU, bar codes)Participate in offsite eventsMaintain parts inventory systemDetermine best parts suppliersOrder parts and accessoriesReceive partsManage inventory levelsReturn parts (Defective, warranties, obsolete)Perform cycle countsAssist with physical inventoryPrepare for daily operationsAssist customers in anyway neededComplete parts sales transactionsPromote product benefits and featuresTrack lost part salesTroubleshoot daily issuesManage quote bookMaintain office equipmentOrder office suppliesOrder and maintain shop suppliesMaintain customer filesParticipate in staff meetingsParticipate in internal and vendor trainingParticipate in cross-trainingReview professional publicationsNetwork with industry representativesAny other assigned tasksRequirements:Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent sales and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Education and Experience:At least 1 year of experience in Parts Department operations preferred.Ability to use standard computer applications such.Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.Basic knowledge of recreational vehicles is preferred.Ability to apply techniques of suggestive selling in daily work.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerProlonged periods of walking and standingProlonged periods of bending and kneelingAbility to safely use a ladder and work at heightsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at timesOther duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
