• Read and understand business requirement documents in order to write scripts if functionality does not exist currently.
• Write scripts in both Excel and a testing tool (Rational, specific experience not required).
• Manually execute test scenarios for verification purposes, positive and negative testing.
• Detect defects found during script writing/testing.
• Log defects with pertinent information.
