WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Brooklyn, New York.Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: Local ContractImmediate opening in Brooklyn working for a large Social Services agency as an RN in a residential facility.Job Function:
  
  • Day Shift.
    
  • 9AM - 4:30PM.
    
  • Coordinate and follow through on healthcare services as part of an interdisciplinary team for assigned programs.
    
  • Arrange and manage medical appointments, referrals, and follow-up care for individuals served.
    
  • Provide staff training on medical topics, including medication administration, hygiene, infection control, and first aid.
    
  • Monitor and manage communicable diseases through assessment, reporting, prevention, and staff education.
    
  • Administer first aid and refer individuals to emergency services or physicians as necessary.

    Job Requirements:
    
    • 1 year OPWDD experience required.
      
    • License and current registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
      
    • CPR Certification.
