Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled *Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)/Operating Room Tech *to join our healthcare team at *one of NYC's top healthcare systems* at their location in the *New York, NY. Pay for this role is $50-$60/hour!* The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the operating room, assisting surgeons and ensuring that all surgical procedures run smoothly.

_Stipends/Travel Packages available for Travel Candidates. Referral bonus of $500 available for candidates referred who work 100 hours or more._

*CST/OR Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*
* Setting up the instruments and equipment that is required for the procedure
* Sterilizing equipment and taking an inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgery
* Preparing the patient for surgery
* Passing the Surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout the operation
* Taking a count of all surgical instruments and supplies prior to the operation
* Recounting surgical instruments and supplies at the end of the operation
* Maintaining an overall sterile environment throughout the surgery

*CST/OR Tech Requirements*:
* Certified Surgical Technician in NY State
* BLS Certification
* 2 years of prior experience as a CST *REQUIRED*
* Prior *orthopedic *experience *REQUIRED*
