The Department of Pathology and Genomic Medicine of the Sidney
Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is recruiting
for a board certified, full-time faculty member, and open rank,
with subspecialty fellowship training in Cytopathology and Surgical
Pathology , in the Clinical Scholar track or Clinical Educator
track, commensurate with training, experience, and academic record.
Subspecialty training in breast pathology is highly desirable. This
position will involve clinical sign-out duties in the Surgical
Pathology (Breast desirable) and cytopathology subspecialty. The
candidate will participate in resident and fellowship training
activities and clinical conferences. The Department has an ACGME
accredited residency program and cytopathology fellowship. Medical
licensure in Pennsylvania is required. The Department places an
emphasis on scholarship. The successful candidate will be expected
to be a member of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas
Jefferson University teaching faculty and time will be allocated to
pursue the intradepartmental and interdepartmental opportunities
for independent and/or translational research. Development of
specialized expertise is strongly encouraged.The Jefferson Health

solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. Jefferson includes
