Job Description:

The Floor Manager oversees overall restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. Responsibilities include coaching employees, managing daily work activities, monitoring register discrepancies, and ensuring quality food and beverages. They also assist with training, represent products, and personalize service. Additionally, they manage labor, direct daily work activities, review performance, and establish a hospitality-minded team. Administrative responsibilities include monitoring menu accuracy, responding to emails, and following up on repairs. Financial responsibilities include suggesting promotions and managing registers. The Floor Manager is responsible for maintaining current knowledge of the restaurant industry and developing this knowledge on their own time. Key requirements include teamwork, personal cleanliness, food handling skills, and ability to communicate in English. They must also be able to work under pressure and manage high volume production.
