Job Description:
Lead the beverage program at Momofuku Noodle Bar Uptown, a
high-volume restaurant in New York City. Collaborate with the
General Manager and Beverage Director to drive sales, improve
service, and maintain quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain proper flow of service and uphold service standards,
product quality, and cleanliness
- Oversee beverage and bar related ordering and sales
- Perform administrative tasks, including financial reports,
scheduling, facilities maintenance, and Health Department
checks
- Conduct daily and ongoing comprehensive beverage training and
education for FOH team members
- Ensure bar staff are trained and follow all safety and DOH
sanitation policies and procedures
- Collaborate with Corporate Beverage Director to evolve beverage
offerings based on seasonality and innovation
- Update beverage materials, including POS system, based on
product selection and availability
- Manage Invoices, scanning to Chouxbox and addressing any flags
or discrepanciesRequirements:
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience in a
high-volume, upscale to fine dining restaurant
- Valid Food Handler's Certification
- Experience with Micros, Tripleseat, Resy, Google strongly
preferred
- Team-focused mindset and empathetic approach to
collaboration
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal
skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve guest
conflict
- Willing to accept guidance and implement direction in a
productive manner
- Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability in a
